I'm considering purchasing this for my niece. I'm concerned that it might not be soft? Can someone who has it let me know if it is comfortable or not?

    Thanks!

I had it a while back...I grew out of the nightgown but still have the too-small nightcap! The lace was a little itchy, and the material got a little pilly after hundreds of washes but I adored dressing like Felicity when I was little. It wasn't something I would wear every night, but still fun to wear and pretend to be colonial. I think your neice will enjoy it.

Dd has Felicity's, Samantha's and Kirstens nightgowns. Of the three, Felicity's is the least itchy. Dd wore it last night and said it wasn't itchy at all. The only problem we've had is that on both of my dd's Felicity gowns, one of the ribbons tore off when they went to tighten it to tie it at the neckline. So I would suggest just tying it in a double knot or stitching it or something so it's loose enough to get over the head (so they don't have to keep re-tying it over and over).

I think your dd will love it! (by the way, the mob cap looks absolutely adorable on real girls!)
